OOOH!! My first blog!

First Blog!!

Hello and welcome to my first blog! I'm Sammi, mum of 3 adorable little ones. Well, they are when they are asleep, or can't talk because they have a mouthful of food, depends on your view on children really! As a parent I need somewhere to outlet pent up adult conversation, as most of the day is spent discussing why bananas in pyjamas have to wear blue and white pjs, why a six your old boy should be tidying up his own mess, or trying to explain to an 18 month old that  sticking toys in his nose, pulling the cats tail, and eating tubes of toothpaste is not a good idea! Basically this blog should stop me being clinically insane, however I do not guarantee that! We are starting the blog after a run of bad luck, firstly I reversed Gertrude (the car) into a bin, and broke the rear windscreen, then my tv packed in, and then I hit my head on the corner of the car door. They say bad luck runs in three's and I truly am hoping so, as one more glitch and I may be getting myself a special white coat! (By the way, nobody was hurt, other than me when I banged my head!) Oh, and then the tv started working again, after I asked 'someone up there' to give me a money tree, let me win the lottery or just fix it. I'd of rather had the money tree to be fair, but beggars can't be choosers! I'm totally losing track of why I started writing, I wanted to write about the fashion disasters of a mum, how we push our needs to the side to make sure our lovely little ones look like they belong on a catwalk. No longer, I am making a stand, they dribble, spill food, and roll in mud in expensive clothes, and us mums are quickly shoving on whatever is cleaned, and if we are lucky it may be ironed. However, the ironed garments is never a guarantee! So as from tomorrow morning, (too comfy in my hoody now) I will be making an effort, to make sure I am wearing (sort of) fashionable clothing, that (preferably) matches, and that I actually look my age (which is 23 by the way) rather than walking out of the house in an ensemble of clothes that even the lady under the subway would be ashamed of!  Speak soon, Sammi xx
